Blue Apple Thumper has introduced a whole new line of Heavy Duty Battery Boxes to its expanding range of power products.
This unique battery box design is packed with numerous features and outlet sockets to accommodate for every individual. Please feel free to browse our range for a battery box that will suit your application.
All model battery box include the following:
4 x Outlet sockets of your choosing (see colour codes below)
2 x 50 Amp Anderson connectors
(one fitted to front of box and one on rear)
1 x LCD Digital Volt meter gauge
Allows for accurate voltage reading of your battery (3volt ~ 30 Volts)
1 x Hold down push button switch
- used for Volt gauge
1 x 30 Amp Automatic reset circuit breaker
- Controls all outlet sockets inside the Battery Box
1 x 50 Amp Automatic reset circuit breaker
- Control both 50 Amp Anderson connector on front & rear
- All internal cabling to allow you to simply connect straight to the battery terminals

BAKIT 50 Charging kit
Description:
The Blue Apple vehicle charging system has been designed for the Thumper range of portable dual battery systems; however this kit is still very much suited to a standard dual battery installation.
The charging kit comprises of a 50Amp isolator (designed to be mounted close to the location of the main vehicle battery).
The isolator is connected to a live ignition feed from the vehicle, meaning that the charging system will only activate when the vehicle's ignition is on. Once the ignition has been switched off, the secondary battery will be completely isolated from the main cranking battery (reserving the main battery for the sole purpose of starting the vehicle).
The charging system comes included with a 5.5mt length of 6mm twin sheathed oxygen free cable, which will be a suitable length for 90% of vehicles including the larger Landcrusiers and Patrols.
The 6mm twin core cable connects the isolator (front module) to the rear junction box.
The rear junction box comprises of a 50Amp Anderson connector, which will connect to the Thumper (through the use of the provided 1mt 6mm connection lead).
Position the rear module somewhere within the vehicle close to where you would like to have your Thumper or secondary battery located (keeping in mind that the provided Anderson connecting lead is only 1mt - so try to mount the rear junction box in a location in which will allow for this distance to be adequate).
The final component is simply the Anderson connecting lead, which will simply connect from the rear junction box directly into the Thumper.
The Vehicle charging system will allow for a continuous 50Amps to be harnessed from the vehicle.
Keep in mind that the Thumper battery packs will charge at a max of a third of their capacity (E.G The 75 AH will accept 25Amps per hour, leaving a massive 25Amps reserve from the charging system to account for running of other appliances such as fridges, inverters, etc).
As this charging system provides a continuous 50Amps from the alternator, it allows for a charging system suitable for batteries up to a 150 AH in capacity.
The system comes included with step by step wiring instructions.
